Counseling Master of Education in Counseling The Master of Education (EdM) in Counseling program at Boston University is committed to developing outstanding counseling professionals with the skills, commitment, and passion to work effectively with diverse populations. Our program offers three concentrations, catering to a diverse body of students and corresponding to different elective coursework and field experiences.
Regardless of each individual student’s concentration, we prepare all students with the knowledge and skills to work with a wide range of populations and mental health issues. We help students attain their professional goals in any number of settings, including but not limited to: schools and universities, mental health counseling agencies, behavioral health settings, addiction treatment centers, group homes, residential treatment centers, hospitals, and private practice settings.
