So I went into the routers settings, figured out how to port forward, followed all the instructions many times, to the T, and yet none of my ports are working. If it helps, I have a 3801HGV router. I have followed AT&T's instructions, third party instructions, and many others. I can actually get the ports to be 'Hosted' on my router, but nobody can connect to me, and none of my ports are open. Anybody else have this problem, and know how to fix it? Try the following • Set your PC to use DHCP, if it isn't already (Go if you don't know how, read it carefully. You want to change settings for IPv4.) • Go to the 'Application, Pinholes and DMZ' page in your routers config (Settings ->Firewall) • Type your IP in the 'Enter IP' field and click 'Choose' • Remove everything from the 'Hosted Application' list • Click the radio button for 'Allow all applications (DMZ+ mode)' • Reboot your computer (or renew your DHCP lease, if you don't know how, rebooting is easier) And then try again.
